I have a list for today with laundry being a high priority. After getting the first load started, we headed to Dollar General around 7:30am to see if they had cream cheese, but they don't open until 8am. Since they were closed we moved on down the road to Aguliar's Meat Market. I bought pork chops, polish sausage and hamburger patties. Fortunately, they had cream cheese, so we returned to the RV park.
After we returned to Bentley I made our morning shakes, then started making the Pecan Cream Pie recipe I found a few days ago. I wanted to get it made early so it would have time to set up for later this evening. Only thing that had to be baked was the pie shell, and I did that last night. It didn't take long to mix the ingredients, then in the refrigerator it went for approximately 8 hours.
It was shortly after 8:30 when I called the post office. I made 4 or 5 calls before someone answered the phone, and fortunately it was the supervisor I spoke to yesterday that answered. She said she had looked everywhere and followed up with the driver. She suggested that I contact Amazon letting them know it had never arrived and to ask them to refund my money. As you know, I have already done that. I was not really surprised at her answer, but I was grateful that she took the time to check it out and then called me back. For now it is resolved. Eventually I will find the file rails I need for my file drawer, and if not, I will reorder them when we get back to Oswego.
Dean wanted to go to Penitas Walmart to get fuel for the truck, so while we were there I bought a pound of hamburger (I forgot to get that at Aguliar's), a couple of tomatoes and avocados, and a loaf of bread.
It's been a cool, dreary and drizzly day. The truck is already looking pretty dirty. I mentioned making sandwiches for tomorrow, and Dean told me we only had one piece of lunchmeat left. So off we headed to Dollar General again but I think we now have everything covered for lunch tomorrow. I sure hope so!
Before we returned to Bentley, Dean wanted to drive down to Anzalduas Park. It's a large park along the Rio Grande River.

| Welcome to Anzalduas Park |
Marc and Misti both called me this afternoon and I enjoyed visiting with each of them. About 3 we left to run an errand and see some friends. First stop was here in the park, to pay our electric bill for our two weeks here. Next we headed to our friends Dennis and Pam to say our goodbye's until we see them in April (and to return the dish she sent my pulled chicken home in from the Super Bowl party.) When we left there we headed to Val's Kountry Corral to visit with Lynette & Jack. Even though they were at dinner Monday night, they set at the far end of the table, so we didn't much of a chance to visit with them. They purchased a new RV since we saw them last February. We took a tour and it is a beautiful rig.
We made it back to Cottonwood around 4:30. We had hoped to have one last fire outside with Lin and Debbie, but it was not to be. It was just too drizzly and cold. We will both be leaving tomorrow morning.
I made taco salads for dinner, and finished the last of the laundry. After doing the dishes, we each had a slice of the pecan cream pie. It was pretty good. (I took two pieces to Lin and Debbie earlier.) After eating mine, I did the dishes, then set down to rest....and promptly fell asleep. Dean woke me up a little before 10. I had no problem drifting off again once I was in bed. It's been two busy days, but we enjoyed our time here with several friends. The days passed much too quick, and I'm sorry we didn't have time to see everyone we had hoped to.
