Dean and I drove to the park to do our 2 mile morning walk again this morning. I hope the weather holds out to allow us to walk every day. I know we have more rain in the forecast in the next few days, but you never know what that weather is going to do.

Upon our return to Bentley, I made our shakes before I started a day of laundry. Four loads later, my laundry basket was empty! I wonder how long it will take to fill it again? At least there are just the 2 of us now, and not 8 of us like when we were first married. Lol! Actually of all the household chores laundry is the only one I can say I enjoy.
I spent quite a bit of time on the phone visiting with friends and family today. I called my Uncle Richard (my mom's brother). He wasn't at home but I had a nice visit with his wife Joyce. It was good to visit with her and catch up on what they've been doing since we've been gone. In the meantime U Richard returned, and I was able to visit with him for a few minutes too. I love these two so much!
My phone rung shortly after hanging up and it was the President of our local Escapees group. With all of the social distancing we are to follow, it was decided to cancel the April casual campout that Dean and I was to host. Dean and I had talked about it last night and I was going to call Alvin this morning to visit with him about it - so it was an easy decision. Next I called the park to let them know of the change. Fortunately, they fully understood our decision. After that I posted information to our group Facebook page to let everyone know of the cancellation.
We have tentatively made plans to visit Dean's son Matt and his family in June. They live near Niagara Falls. Our plan is to arrive in time to see Josh and Sarah play summer ball. There is an RV Park located nearby their home, so I called this morning to ask about their cancellation policy. Since they only have a 3 day cancellation, I made the reservation for June 26-July 5. We hope the virus will be under control and we'll be able to go, but if not we'll try to reschedule at a later date.

After lunch I called Marc's children, Kamron and Jaxson to visit with them for a little bit, then followed up with a call to my daughter Misti to catch up with her. My next call was to my cousin Jim. I've been concerned about his wife since I knew she would be having hip surgery soon. I was glad to find out the first of two surgeries is scheduled for Monday. He caught me up with his family, including his mom (my Great-Aunt Naomi) who will be 97 next week. She is in an assisted living center and as is the case with most centers, families cannot visit right now. They are able to Facetime with her occasionally and was able to do that recently. He told me another cousin had recently had back surgery. I wasn't aware of that so I'll give her a call in the next week or so, giving her sometime to recover a bit.
Later I called my friend Betsy and we had a nice visit. It's been almost a year since I last saw her, so we had quite a bit of catching up to do.
Tomorrow I have another list of things to do - but those include some real "physical" work!
We settled in for some TV and neither of us were able to make it to 10 tonight. That talking is hard work - it wore me out!
I'm so thankful for my family and friends. What a blessing they are to both of us.
