Wednesday, March 11, 2020 - Leaving High Chaparral RV Resort - Traveling to Justin's Diamond J RV Park, Tucson, AZ

Wednesday, March 11, 2020 - Leaving High Chaparral RV Resort - Traveling to Justin's Diamond J RV Park, Tucson, AZ

We were not in a hurry to leave this morning since we will only travel 1.5 hours or so from RV Park to RV Park.  I have been fighting what I believed to be a bladder infection for the past few days.  I've been drinking water and cranberry juice like crazy, but I decided I needed to quit trying to treat myself and do something about it.  Fortunately, with the plan I chose with FMCA (Family Motor Coach Association) for health coverage, it includes TelaDoc.  This allows me to call in my symptoms.  They then forward the information to a doctor, who will call me to go over the symptoms and my health information.  From that, it will determine if they can issue a prescription, or if I need more care.  Fortunately, with the symptoms I described she was able to issue a prescription to a pharmacy of my choice.  There happens to be a Walgreens a short distance from the campground we are moving to this morning, which works out well for us.

I wish I had known I would have to provide quite a bit of health information online to set up an account before today; as it took me over an hour just to gather everything they needed from one place or another before I could place a call.  It's done now in case I ever need to use it again.  It's convenient being on the road like we are.

We arrived at Justin's Diamond J RV Park in Tucson, AZ at 12:06, after leaving High Chaparral at 10:00am.  We had a quick sandwich for lunch after we were set up, then we headed to Walgreen's.  Another thing I learned after we arrived, is to call the pharmacy first to be sure they have all the information they need before arrive to pick it up - about 20-30 minutes later, they finally had my prescription ready.  It had not been filled yet, because they needed to know if I had insurance or would be paying in cash, causing us to wait for it to be filled.  It was a very busy place!

All in all, I was thankful to get something so I will soon be feeling better.  I'm sure it will be behind me in no time.  We noticed a Dairy Queen on the way to Walgreen's.  I pulled up my app, and SURPRISE, Dairy Queen turns 80 this month.  With the app from now until March 15 you can buy a blizzard at regular price, and you get one of equal or lesser value for only $.80 + taxes. Well, of course we could not pass that opportunity up, right?

After we returned to the campground, I spent the remainder of the day working on the blog and going through pictures from the past several days, while Dean enjoyed a few programs on TV.  Fortunately we had leftover goulash so I didn't have to cook tonight.  It rained off and on most of the day and into the evening, but we didn't mind since we were inside.

Our site - it is quite large.  Per the brochure, they say each site is at least 2,000 sq ft. and it is roomy.
Justin's Diamond J is a Passport America Park - good for 2 nights in March, so we paid 1/2 price for 2 nights and full price for the 3rd night.   High Chaparral was also a Passport America park and it was good for both nights.  Passport America has saved us quite a bit of money on campgrounds over the years, and it's our favorite discount card to use.  We also use Good Sam's & KOA, both 10% off as well as Escapees, which varies by campground, but are also are very affordable.
