After a goodnight sleep, I was awake a little after 4:30. Soon I was working on the blog post for Monday. I wanted Dean to read it over, especially about our little Pop and Smoke issue. I copied and pasted it into an email for him to check it for accuracy. Once he had read it over, he told me it was all correct. So I copied and pasted it into my blog post. BIG MISTAKE! It did not work well. My sister sent me a text last night asking me what was wrong. Before I posted it, it looked perfectly fine, but when I went back to look at it after reading her comment, I could see it just strung many, many words into each line, making it impossible to read. Lesson learned - you can't shortcut Blogger. LOL!! I tried to fix it, but it just was not going to reformat, so I deleted it. Since I have the email I sent Dean, I will type it back in in a new post. Oh well, this is how we learn things, right?

Our site at Arrowhead Point RV Park - Osceola, MO
After my morning chores were done, I went outside to sit. It was a beautiful day and the temperatures remained in the 80's all day, with a nice breeze most of the time. When Dean came outside a short time later I asked if he would like to take a walk - it was about 9-9:30. We walked the lane to the highway, then turned around and walked back to the office area. Stan was outside, so we stopped to visit with him for awhile, before walking back to Bentley.
Stan told us he thought about us last night and hoped all would be okay with our RV after the Pop and Smoke incident. Dean said he didn't sleep well at all thinking about it. I slept like a rock. Everything is working well this morning. Maybe the Wally was the problem - maybe it was a surge - maybe, maybe, maybe...will we ever know?
Tonight is our potluck dinner. Dean is going to grill chicken breasts and I am making an Earthquake Cake. It's been quite sometime since I made one. Since they have a meeting room with a kitchen, I can bake it there. It's too hot to use the gas stove in Bentley, and I haven't had much luck using a 9x13 pan in the convection oven, as it has to be turned during the baking process.
At 11:15 or so, we had a sandwich followed by our apple. Soon afterwards, I started the cake process - making the cake mix up first. At that point I wanted to turn the oven on to preheat it, so I walked over to the meeting room to do that, then returned to make the "earthquake" part of the cake. It didn't take long to finish it and get it in the oven. I set the timer, with the help of Alvin, who came to my rescue when I couldn't get the timer to set. I set my phone timer as well, since it needed to bake for 45 minutes, then I returned to Bentley to do the dishes.
We set outside until a few minutes before the cake should be done, then we headed back to the meeting room. Drena and Keith were there checking it out for our meal this evening. Due to Covid, we will be social distancing, only 4 to a table, with separation between us. Two or three of the women are going to serve us. They will be masked, with gloves as we go through the line.

The Meeting Room - very nice. I loved the decorations.
While we were inside visiting, the last two rigs pulled into the park for our campout, for a total of 9 rigs. They are new members, both from Missouri, who have been traveling together. This stop will be ending their travels that covered over 5,500 miles. Later we all gathered outside at Alvin and Linda's where we had a chance to visit with them before our meal. Around 4, a rain shower blew in. Several ran to their rigs. We stood under the open "tent" Alvin put up last night visiting a bit more. When it let up some, we headed home. Dean put the grill under the cap of Bentley while he grilled the chicken. Soon we were on our way to the meeting room with our table service and food to share.
The meal was delicious as always. So many new things to try!! Afterwards we visited amongst ourselves before heading back home with our leftovers.

Being served by the ladies. I think Dean is giving the two Linda's a bad time!

Back in Bentley, this is when we really missed the Wally and our power strip. There are not enough outlets to plug phones, computers, the chairs, and the MIFI into, along with the other things we have in the kitchen area. There is only one outlet near our chairs, and it's behind the desk. That is where the power strip is plugged in. We will have to pull it through the side opening to get it to the plug in. Dean left a cutout in the back of the desk to allow room for it. Right now, if the computers or the phones die, we can't charge them near our recliners or the table.
Dean is a TV guy!! Without the Wally, we have been using the antenna. We are in a hilly area of Missouri, with no towns nearby, so you can imagine the reception he is getting. The TV is out more than it is working, but he's been a trooper. It may require a trip back to Nevada tomorrow to purchase a new power strip. We also need to call Dish and order a new Wally. I'm not sure if we can get one from a Dish dealer in Nevada, or if they will have to mail it to us, but I'll look into that tomorrow.
We didn't quite make it to 10, before we turned in for the night.
