Monday, February 11, 2019 - Happy Birthdays!; Chiropractor; Craft Show; Shopping Trip; Pizza Night; Blog Catch-up

Happy birthday to two very special people - my daughter-in-law Jennifer (Marc's wife); and my step-dad Larry Long.  I love you both very much!

I had an appointment with the chiropractor this morning at 8:15.  I really like Dr. Whitaker.  He gave me some exercises to do last year for my neck and I've had less problems this last year than past years, so I think they are working.  I've been having a little problem with my lower back too, and today he gave me some exercises to help with that as well.  He told me to keep walking and be sure to use a rolled up towel behind the small of my back when sitting, as it helps to set up straighter.  I shared with him my dad was always telling me to stand up straight, and I used to tell my daughter the same - fortunately, she listened and has beautiful posture!  I wish I would have done the same!

After my appointment, I noticed I had a text message from Pam letting me know there was a handmade wooden card wagon for sale at the craft show in their park.

Card cart.  Draw pile and Discard pile.

I am glad Pam sent me the text or I would have probably forgotten to stop - even though she reminded me a couple of times.  I asked her if she would mind getting it and I'd pay her when I got there.  Once I arrived at the park, I had to drive around the block twice before I finally found a place to park this big honking truck of ours!  Lol!   I've been wanting a T-shirt that says something about a Winter Texan (found one!), and the cutest picture that will look  great in the RV.

My Winter Texas T-shirt

If you've been following the blog, you know how much I love old barns, and we also love to watch birds.  This was perfect and the frame fits perfectly on our walls.  I haven't put it up yet, but will soon.

I finished up the blog today and got everything posted.  Once I was finished, Dean and I headed out looking for stores that sell light fixtures.  First stop was Home Depot.  While they had a few none would work for the lights we have.  On one of our travel days a few months back, one of the lights came loose, and dropped from the platform above.  It was still attached to the wire and swung around as we were driving down the road.  It hit the middle light globe and broke it.  So now we are looking for three new globes that will fit the light.  Our next stop was at a light shop in a commercial area where the businesses were located in what is like a large storage unit.  Unfortunately, they only had one set of globes and it would not work either.   By then it was close to 5.

We decided to stop at Brick Fire Pizza on our way home.  We tried the cauliflower crust and it was very good.  While they were out of a few of the toppings we added last time we were here the pizza was still really good.

Once in for the evening, I finally finished up the blog posts but when I tried to reread them, checking for errors, I was too tired and kept drifting off.  When I'm that tired I will not post until the next day, after I have time to reread it and know what I am reading!!!!!  Lol!
