March 21-31, 2019

The past few weeks have flown by.  Between working on our annual income tax, preparing for hosting the first casual campout/rally of the year with our Escapees group, doctor appointments, attending grandchildren activities and celebrating birthdays we have been super busy.  We enjoyed a few rides here and there in our immediate area, as we enjoy the relaxation and the countryside.

Here are a few pictures to go along with what we've been doing.

March 21 - Granddaughters Haleigh and Kamron decided to hang out with Nana today.  We headed to Carthage, Missouri, where we enjoyed a nice lunch at a cafe downtown.  The wraps were really good and the coffee choices were amazing.  Afterwards we walked around the square where their beautiful courthouse is located.  We visited a number of second hand/flea markets.  The girls had a great time.  They love to look at vintage things.  It was a great day spent with them.

March 26 - Jaxson spent the day with me.  I took him to the park in the afternoon.  It was a beautiful day.  He enjoyed playing on the new playground equipment the city recently installed.  Before we left, there was about 10-12 kids playing together.  He had such a good time.  I loved hearing him laugh and watching him play.

March 29 - Dean and I traveled to Independence to watch Tucker play tennis.  It was fun to watch him.  He played great and received first place.  We were so glad we were able to be there.  We stayed afterwards to take pictures of his team.  These pictures were taken by Carolyn Eddington - her camera is much better than mine, and she can catch the action of the game.  It was windy and cool, but we were thankful Independence has a covered area for us to set in.

March 31 - We've decided to start walking in the mornings again (if the weather will cooperate).  Today we headed to the park.  Spring is here and we are enjoying the beautiful spring flowers and trees.  We have such a beautiful park.  We sure enjoy our walks here.
